Since 2017, students from across the state have contributed Children’s Book Challenge-winning books to South Carolina’s elementary school libraries. Each year, we select two books, one from an individual and one from a group, as our statewide winners. They are chosen from winning books selected by their local electric cooperative.
Statewide winning books are published and distributed to schools across South Carolina. Authors and teachers win cash prizes and are also recognized at the South Carolina State House.
